Sari Ketter is currently serving as Associate Director to Director Bartlett Sher for the Broadway production of Aaron Sorkin’s To Kill A Mockingbird.
She was Assistant Director for Sher’s recent Lincoln Center revival of My Fair Lady and is Associate Director for the current first national tour of that production.
She served as Assistant Director for the 2016 Tony-nominated Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, and is Associate Director for the current first national tour of that production.
She was Associate Director for the first national tour of Lincoln Center’s Tony-winning revival of The King and I, and served as Associate Director when the production was remounted at the London Palladium in 2018.
She has directed at The Guthrie Theater, The Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, The Intiman Theater, The Great Lakes Theater Company, and Portland Stage.
She has worked as an assistant director on and off Broadway, including at The Lincoln Center Theater, Playwrights Horizons, and The Acting Company.
Regionally she has assisted at Arena Stage, Seattle Repertory Theater, Hartford Stage Company, and the Denver Theater Center.
She has staged operas and revues for the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Saint Louis Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Houston Symphony.
She has taught at NYU, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Missouri Kansas City.
She was on the staff of The Guthrie Theater for ten years, serving as Artistic Associate to Artistic Director Garland Wright.
